Clock spring is used to connect the main airbag (the one on the steering wheel ) and the airbag wiring harness . In fact, it is one wire harness. Since the main airbag rotates with the steering wheel, as you can imagine, a certain length of wire harness wrapped on the steering wheel shaft. As the steering wheel rotates, it can adapt it to release on the reverse side or wound tighter . However, it has a limited point to ensure that when the steering wheel turns extremely to the left or right, the wire harness will not be pulled off. That is why when connecting the wire harness, it should leave an allowance. This is particularly needed to pay attention to when installing the airbag spring, and make sure that it is in the middle.
