SS400-- first S represents steel (Steel), said second S "Structure" (Structure), 400 for

the lower limit tensile strength 400MPa, a tensile strength of said overall general structural

steel of 400 MPa. SS400 is Japan's steel, standard JIS G3101, the equivalent of Chinese steel

inside Q235A.
