Using progressive solidification process and making Cr7C3 type carbide vertical growth against the working face. In the case of not lower the toughness of the parts, Meanwhile Cr7C3 type face macro hardness and micro hardness also increased.

Using annealing, quenching, tempering heat treatment process to make the blow bars’ surface hardness reaches 58-65HRC.
The specification of the impact crushers become bigger and the crushing capacity also become bigger. The impact crushers are widely used in construction industry, metallurgy, mineral processing, chemical industry and etc. Impact crusher is especially suitable for crush medium hardness brittle materials, such as limestone, coal, sandstone, cement clinker, iron ore, aluminum ore, and molybdenum ore for coarse, intermediate and finely crushing. Blow bars are the main impact crusher wear parts of impact crusher, mainly bear erosion and abrasives wear from the crushed material. The Germany crusher parts blow bars requires high hardness and certain impact toughness, so the high chromium cast iron is the most suitable material for the blow bars.
High chromium cast iron blow bar is of wear-resisting, because its matrix contains certain amount of Cr7c3 type carbide. The carbide quantity and distribution direct influence the performance of the blow bars. If Cr7C3 type carbide disorder distribution, the micro hardness of the part is 1300-1800 HV. However, if Cr7C3 directional distribution, the axial section micro hardness will reach more than 1800HV. After microalloyed, the micro hardness will be up 2000HV. This is also the main reason why directional solidification can improve the wear resistance of the high chromium cast iron. The blow bars of our company all adopt the technologies of directional solidification, compound modification treatment. We use multiple micros alloying to improve the carbide micro hardness and reasonable selection of Cr/C value, control the type and content of the carbide. So our high chromium blow bars can satisfy different users’ requirement at all kinds of working conditions.
