Anti-reflective toughened glass is made from annealed glass via a thermal tempering process.. Tempered glass is often referred to as "safety glass." Anti-reflective toughened glass is more resistant to breakage than normal float glass. Anti-reflective toughened glass is four to five times stronger than annealed glass and does not break into sharp shards when it fails, which are less likely to cause serious injury. Anti-reflective toughened glass can be with holes or cutouts/hinges/grooves/notch and polished edges, beveled edges, chamfered edges or grinding edges, then processed into tempered laminated glass, tempered insulated glass, etc.
