One piece waler clamps, z-ties and waler ties are all used to attach a 2×4 to the back of a concrete form, creating a waler.

 

5” steel walers eliminate the need for 2×4 lumber and function as a stand-alone waler. For additional straightening power, two 2×4 boards can be used in the waler. To install the one piece waler clamp used in the Ellis Panel System, simply attach the bracket to

 

the form and pull back the handle wedge, insert your 2×4′s and tighten down the wedges to straighten your forms
