This supervisor is ideal for enterprise LAN access that require maximum uptime and security. Supervisor Engine 32 provides investment protection for current Cisco Catalyst 6500 deployments by supporting all existing classic and CEF256 based modules and enabling new applications.

Two uplink options are available: 8-port Gigabit Ethernet Small Form Pluggable (SFP)-based uplinks and 2-port 10-Gigabit Ethernet XENPAK-based uplinks.
