Main introduction :

Ladle covering powder is highly insulating powder, which is used in steel mills for insulation of molten metal in ladle and tundish. The ladle covering powder has good expandability and spreadability, so that it expands and spreads instantly to cover entire molten steel surface in the ladle and tundish.

Application :

Ladle covering powder is added to the surface of tundish molten steel. There are three main functions of Ladle covering powder . Firstly, it plays a role of thermal insulation and reducing heat loss; secondly, the Ladle covering powder can prevent reoxidation of molten steel by isolating molten steel from air; finally, Ladle covering powder can get rid of inclusions in steel and purify molten steel.

1) 25kg/unit(plastic woven bag); 1 ton in P.P bag(waterproof) with sling.

2) 25kg/unit(plastic woven bag); 1 ton on pallet with plastic film. 

3) Or according to customer's request.
