Cold set Rotary Fount N 85 Ci is a high concentrated alcohol free fountain solution for newspaper printing with perfect surface tension and viscosity. N 85 Ci works well on all kinds of rotary presses and it is suitable for ctp plates.  N 85 Ci can also be used on offset presses as an alcohol reduction fountain solution.                                                                  

 

Properties:

1. Strong buffer system, guarantees a stable pH value at the most favorable printing level.

2. Suitable for all water qualities, also treated water.

3. No special requirement for inks, plates and other printing materials.

4. Hydrophilic substances protect the plate surface during machine stops. 

5. Optimal ink-water balance.

6. Good wetting of the plate also at high speed.

7. Eliminates bacterial growth of algae, bacteria and fungi in fountain solution circuit.

8. Low build up on the blanket and therefore long washing intervals.

                                                                                                  

 

Dosage:

Recommended addition:1-3%.

 

Working Fluid Properties:

An addition of 1-3% dosage provides a PH value of 4.8-5.5 and  conductivity of 800-1200.
