Brief introduction of bamboo carbonization furnace:

 

Our bamboo carbonization furnace made by thick steel appearance, refractory bricks, airflow pipe,

the whole bamboo carbonization furnace can be 800-1000 certigrade.  According to your different

raw material, our plant can provide you two different kinds bamboo carbonization furnaces: 1) If your

raw material is sawdust, leaves, small diameter tree branches whose diameter less than 30mm, dry

grass, straw, thin shell, peanut shell, corn shell, etc. and you want to make charcoal or coal in a short

time. I will advice you airflow type palm shell carbonization furnace; 2) If your raw material is bamboo,

coconut shell, palm shell, bigger diameter tree branches, palm silk ,biomass briuqette from biomass

wastes, brown coal, etc. high density raw material, I will advice you natural bamboo carbonization

furnace.

 

Because of bamboo is empty inside, so bamboo is much more easier to be carbonized. Normally,

wood briquettes can be turned into charcoal about 6 hours, but for bamboo, maybe about 3 hours.

 

 

Working principle of bamboo carbonization furnace:

 

 

1) Drying stage: First, we should set fire on wood, tree branches, wood briquettes, bamboo, etc.(which 

we have laid in the bamboo carbonization furnace) through four holes which locate furnace's bottom. 

Then close the holes. And close the upper holes till the thermometer (which loactes on the surface of 

the furnace) reaches 100°C. At  this stage, the temperature in the furnace will reach about 100-160°C,

and all the water content will be evaporated.(bamboo carbonization furnace)

 

2) Initial phase of carbonization: At this stage, the temperature in the furnace will reach 600-700°C,

bamboo, tree branches, wood briquettes,palm shell, etc. will be decomposed into carbon dioxide, 

carbon monoxide, etc.(bamboo carbonization furnace)

 

3) Carbonization stage: At this stage, the temperature will reach 800-1000°C, wood, tree branches,

wood briquettes,palm shell, etc. will be decomposed rapidly and finally carbonized into charcoal.(

4) Carbonization time: 3-6 hours (Carbonize briquette in furnace about 6 hours,then cool them about 6

hours in bamboo carbonization furnace)
