This features two independent antennas with cross polarization.This feature doubles the wireless capacity over the same channels.The antenna is fed via two N-Female ports, one for +45° polarized and one for -45° polarized signals.
This feature makes these antennas ideal for polarization diversity systems.
Remote Electrial Tilt (RET) Components:
3G mobile systems based on CDMA technology have the "breathing effort" which requires more frequent adjustment of the antenna tilt angle than that of the 2G systems, to meet the periodic variance of the traffic.
Ameison has provided the full series of the Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) solutions, including the RET antennas, Antenna Control Unit (ACU), Portable Control Unit (PCU), Smart Bias Tee (SBT) and control cables, etc. They are fully interoperationabe with AISG V2.0 compliant RRU and Node-B, etc.
The tilt angle of the antenna can be accurately checked and adjusted remotely from the OMC center without climbing up the tower and shutting down the RF power, greatly reducing the workload of the network optimization.
Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) antenna systems are designed so that wireless providers can make adjustments remotely to their antenna systems.
The Antenna Interface Standards Group (AISG) has created specifications for the control interface for these types of systems.
Tips: Remote Control Unit(RCU) and AISG 2.0 connector 50M or longer 141 RET control cable can be matched if needed, manual adjustment or optional ACU for RET control.
