Internal Equipment Bay
The internal weatherproof equipment bay provides an enclosed space to mount radios, amplifiers, and other electronic equipment directly behind the panel antenna.
This lightweight antenna features an internal equipment bay for mounting radios and electronics.
Standoffs are provided to help mount equipment securely into the equipment bay.

Several standard connector types are available.

Designed for outdoor use (can also be used indoors), the antenna features a gasket equipment bay lid to keep the elements out of the internal compartment.

The Panel Enclosure has a weatherproof CAT5/CAT6 external quick connection, allowing rapid installation and easy, quick servicing.

The antenna, with the internal connections made prior to deployment, is mounted at the site reducing deployment time.

MIMO Antenna Overview

Multiple–Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) antennas have two or more antennas in a single physical package and are designed for use in IEEE 802.11n wireless networks.

By utilizing multiple antennas, data throughput and range are increased compared to a single antenna using the same radio transmit power.

Additionally MIMO antennas improve link reliability and experience less fading than a single antenna system. By transmitting multiple data streams at the same time, wireless capacity is increased.

MIMO technology uses Multipath (when wireless signals “bounce” off of objects and arrive at the receiver at different times) to improve wireless performance.

MIMO technology takes a single data stream and breaks it down into several separate data streams and sends it out over multiple antennas.
