   The ball mill is a key equipment to grind the crushed materials, and the ball mill is widely used in powder-making production line including cement, silicate, new-type building material, refractory material, fertilizer, ore dressing of ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal, glass ceramics, etc, and the ball mill can grind various ores and other materials with dry type and wet type. There are two kinds of ball mill, grate type and overfall type due to different ways of discharging material

   

2 .Working Principle of Ball Mill:

     When the ball mill turning, there are centrifugal force and force of friction between grinding medium and the plate in the rotary body wall. And the grinding medium will rotate with rotary body to a certain height. Then it will fall freely under gravity, whereabouts of grinding medium, like a projectile impact the material at the bottom to smaller size. In addition, grinding medium also generates sliding and rolling in the rotary process. Thus there are schleifwirkung among grinding medium, plate and material. So we can get fine powder in the process
