Grade 304 is the standard "18/8" stainless steel that you will probably see in your pans and cookery tools.Type 304 stainless steel also has outstanding welding characteristics. Post-weld annealing is not required to restore the excellent performance of this grade in a wide range of mildly corrosive conditions.
