Fountain type runner vane is bucket like, with center line of jet flow tangential to runner pitch, also referred to as Pelton wheel.

 

Features of  Pelton 20kw water turbine ; 

a. relatively high water head;

b. simple structure; c. not limited by cavitation conditions;

d. relatively high performance to price ratio.
