ATL-002 is used for water purification because of its excellent adsorption capacity for a.o. taste & odor causing compounds, colors, algal toxins and synthetic organic chemicals. ATL-002 is an acid washed granular activated carbon, produced by steam activation of coal. ATL-002 meets the requirements of the latest version of the U.S. Food Chemicals Codex .
