The Widemac WD-1005P  Ethernet switch is a wired 5-port switch meant for connecting five devices simultaneously. The Linksys Ethernet switch offers five auto-sensing Fast Ethernet (10/100) ports, connection speeds of up to 100 Mbps, and Quality of Service (QoS) traffic prioritization technology. The unit has two power saving features: the auto power-down which disables unused ports and a port status switch to control LED lights. This Linksys Ethernet switch is capable of running multiple incoming and outgoing tasks simultaneously. The unit features wired connectivityand incorporates plug-and-play functionality, which means the user simply needs to plug the switch in and connect to devices. The Linksys SE1500 Ethernet switch can connect multiple device types including printers, computers, gaming consoles, and other similar devices. This Linksys Ethernet switch meets IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. The combined features make this unit capable of being the primary wired 5-port switch for a home office as well as for personal use.
