Datacard’s SP75 Plus ID card printer increases ID card security with its lamination capabilities. Lamination provides protection against data misuse by applying a clear ID overlaminate or holographic patch on your ID cards. Holographic patches particularly discourage ID card counterfeiting as they are more difficult to replicate. Lamination additionally adds durability to your ID cards, contributing to their longer life. With the Datacard SP75 Plus you can add a second laminator to provide increased efficiency to your ID production process.

The SP75 Plus ID card printer optionally provides the ability to protect itself and its materials with a hardware lock suite that protect your supplies and rejected ID cards from unauthorized access. The Datacard SP75 Plus features support for a Kensington lock system that will anchor the ID card printer to its workstation. Aditionally, Datacard’s Printer-PC security software matches your ID card printer to a host PC, prohibiting ID card printer operation if disconnected from the host PC.

The Datacard SP75 Plus is capable of creating up to 175 full color, single-sided laminated ID cards per hour.
