DCM220B 2D electronic compass sensor
The DCM220 is an integrated 2D compass and magnetic field sensing module featuring an on-board microprocessor for control and interfacing, Which introduce advanced international technologies and measurement circuit technology for unparalleled cost effectiveness and performance.
Two axis of digital compass which are perpendicular with each other in magnetic sensor induce the earth's magnetic component ,then get the azimuth angle. It communicates with PC through RS232 full-duplex with high accuracy and stable performance. There are both continuous and inquiry output mode. At the same time it has declination angle and deviation angle compensation function. Its Baud rate is 9600bp/s (4800 /19200Optional).
Advantages include 5 V operation for compatibility with new systems, low power a small footprint:30mm, large signal noise immunity under all conditions, and a large magnetic field dynamic range. Resolution and field measurement range are software configurable for a variety of applications. The measurement is very stable over temperature and inherently free from offset drift.these advantages make RION DCM220 the choice for applications that require a solution that has a high degree of azimuth accuracy, requires little power, and has a small package size.
