USB-IF Certified BC-LINK USB 3.1 type C cable

This USB 3.1 Type-A to Type-C Cable will allow users to connect USB Type-A devices, such as external storage, optical drives, printers, memory card readers, and more, to their compatible USB Type-C system, such as the 2015 Apple MacBook, Google Chromebook Pixel, or any other computer with a USB Type-C port. USB 3.1 provides a maximum data transfer rate of 10 Gb/s through its reversible USB Type-C connector, meaning that the connector can be inserted whether oriented right-side up or flipped upside down. In addition to connecting USB 3.1 Type-A devices to compatible USB Type-C systems, this cable is also able to connect compatible devices to USB Type-C chargers and supports device charging up to 3A.
This Cable is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 at speeds up to 480 Mb/s and USB 1.1 at speeds up to 12 Mb/s.
