Manual of the Refraction oil Bottle

                 In order to get a good connection between gemstone and testing prism, it is enssential to drip a little refraction oil between gemstone and testing prism. While the refraction oil is toxic reagent, pls be carefulwhen using.

Traditional oil bottle is a small glass bottle, there is a plastic stick in the bottle cap, spread the oil to the testing prism with the stick

* Here present some disadvantages:

1) Easy fragile, easy spill: glasses are fragile,even won’t brokenon the carpet floor,the oil will spill out, wasting and polluting.

2) Hard to control the quantity:glue stick always lose control anddrip a lot, in fact not required too much,while you have to wipe it off, wasting time and oil.

Details steps as following:

1) before using pls wipe the sealing-wax by soft paper at the first time;

2) before using pls wrap the lip with soft paper and clean the bottle lip

3) Put the bottle lip to the middle of the testing prism,press the bottle lightly to control the volume.A.when test the facets,it need more oil,so press the bottle from the vertical direction;B.when test the spots,need little oil,so put the bottle slanting and press down;easy to operate after repeatpractise;

4) After using pls wrap the lip and clearn with softpaper,then fix the lid on and put it’s lip upwards.
