Cassia essential oil is a fungal remedy, natural immune system booster and antiviral essential oil. It can be used as a home remedy for toe nail fungus, colds, diarrhea and viral and bacterial infections.
Cassia is in the same family as cinnamon and therefore is a "hot" oil. Because of this it is typically used in blends rather than alone. Although I like the taste and will often use it as a substitute to cinnamon! Historically, it has also been used for a natural remedy for rheumatoid arthritis, kidney and infections.
