Overview

Z-wave is a two-way wireless technology, the devices can receive commands from Gateway and also can send singles to Gateway report their status. Z-Wave is a new radio-based, suitable for short-range wireless communications technology.

  1.1 System components

1.3 System Framework

   In Automation section have all kinds of appliances, such as lights, sensors, curtains..., one-button operation fully open, fully closed. Set specific conditions on the image screen .

When you need to add a device to the smart home system, you can just do a simple pairing, clink "Add" at below of interface will appears a dialog, and then press the corresponding device learn button, clink "OK" on PC interface, then add success. 

When you need to remove a device from the smart home system, clink "Remove" at below of interface will appears a dialog, and then press the corresponding device learn button, clink "OK" on PC interface, then remove success. 

For "Condition", you can set some scene, such as when ZW14 Gas detector trigger then ZW40 Gas valve shutoff and ZW15 Alarm box alarming, at the same time send an email to notice user.

Gateway setting in the Web management last one, set name, ID, password, background picture, email address and the version updated. All of them are easily set as below shown:

Common settings included, system settings, network settings and remote connection setting:

System settings, you can set Gateway’s name. Network settings, refer to the device is DHCP automatically obtain, or statically configured address needs to be configured to have a static address IP address, subnet mask and gateway. NIE gateway default IP address is 192.168.1.100, C class address subnet mask 255.255.255.0. Remote settings, UPnP, refers to setting up remote access port mapping. Network port number, refers to the network port, the system default 1166, the user can change. You can change the device account management account password, you need to change the account password when you want to directly enter their account name password can click Apply.

Firmware Update means firmware upgrade (system upgrade)

Setting the mail server, only the mail server settings correctly configured device can correctly send e-mail to the user, real-time monitoring device information. Description refers to the name of security and authentication, enter the account password refers to the need for SSL secure connections.

Email address setting, here you can add/delete the email address, if you want use one email address as the mailbox just tick it on option line.

Basemap updates, you can update the background with whatever picture you like, but need be attention that the picture must be JPG format and size maximum 40K.

Digital photo frame settings used in tablet PCs, mobile phones and other terminal equipment. Implement digital photo frame, while the screen saver function, you can add your own favorite photos and pictures. Set in the system, when the trigger wake-up time to achieve this functionality. User-defined IP address which should all be URL (WEB address) paths.
