Shanghai Sino-Telecom Technology Co., Ltd.
ADSL technology has great advantages in terms of bandwidth and performance and is the major broadband access technology. However, the longer the distance between CO and CPE, the lower the speed ADSL can achieve.
AER800-1P can extend the coverage of single ADSL line and resolve the above issue very well. It will provide systems with higher performance-to-cost ratio for telecom operators, improve the equipment utilization rate, optimize the network and boost the ability to compete. Along with protection of current investment, this ADSL repeater can have more broadband access subscribers and value-added services accommodated by extending coverage of existing ADSL network. As the result, it will bring back huge return.

Installation Environment
Before installation, the DC 48V or AC110-240V power supply and reliable ground connection should be assured. The customer should order the corresponding type of power supply according to the available power source.
Installation Procedures
The recommended installation conditions are as follows. Total line loop resistance is about 800ohm to 1600ohm; loop resistance between repeater and CO is about 450ohm to 1260ohm; loop resistance between repeater and CPE is about 200ohm to 900ohm.
Open the package and take out the equipment, check items according to the package list. Visually inspect it for signs of damage.

The power supply cable here is the normal twist-pair phone line.
When remote supply is desired, pick the twist-pair available for power supply usage first (L3 as shown in Fig. 2). The supply voltage from wiring box will pass through wiring rack and cable, finally goes into ADSL repeater. When local power supply is desired, the supply voltage from wiring box will go through twist-pair and into the ADSL repeater directly.
Connect the equipment's ground to CO's grounding terminal directly.
The supplied accessories include power cord for AC 110-240V or DC 48V. Connect it to the AC110-240V or DC 48V power source with good connection. To easy the installation, DC power source connection is not polarized.
Attention: ADSL repeater's power supply should NOT be turned on until the repeater installation is finished.
Equipment is installed in the cabinet box. ADSL repeater can be placed in the box if there is inner room available. Or the repeater can be mounted in the box through supplied mount-ing brackets.
Attention: Copper-core wire with no less than 1.5mm2 section area is required as ground wire. One end of the wire should connect to repeater's ground terminal. The other end of the wire should connect to a good ground-ing point.
I. Identify and separate the signal twist-pair and power sup-ply twist-pair.
II. Remove about 10mm insulation coat of the twist-pair for first channel CPE side, connect to the "white/green" pair of the ADSL .
III. Remove about 10mm insulation coat of the twist-pair for first channel CO side, connect to the "white/orange" pair of the repeater.
IV. Remove about 10mm insulation coat of the twist-pair for power supply from CO, connect to the "white/blue" pair of the ADSL repeater.
Attention:
a) "A" and "B" represent A and B wire of the twist-pair. No polarity, pls do all the above for wire A and wire B sepa-rately .
b) Before power up the system, please make sure all the con-nections are correct.
c) When the power supply wire is active, do NOT operate the A and B wire of the supply pair simultaneously. The A wire and B wire should be isolated.
After confirming that all the twist-pair cables are connected correctly and enclosure is securely installed, power up the system. The ADSL repeater will work in 20 seconds after power is supplied steadily.
