Overview
OEO6500-EWDM developed by Sino Telecom is a service board which is used for WDM-GPON/EPON system. In the principle of optical-electrical-optical (OEO), it can realize signal amplification and regeneration. Meanwhile, it can achieve signal retiming by extraction of clock from downstream signals, so as to realize 3R ampilication of signals. As a result, it can effectively amplify the optical power of PON line and extend the networking transmission distance. Moreover, it has features of compact structure and easy installation, which helps it to be widely used in a variety of fields such as bandwidth expansion, remote transmission, GPON/EPON access for residential communities and FTTH etc.
