How does Nelumbo waterproof breathable membrane works?

 

Nelumbo breathable membrane is made by two layers of PP non-woven fabrics and one layer of PE microporous polymeric membrane in the middle.  

 

1. It has superior air resistance that helps to protect insulation from drafts, reducing energy costs.

2. It provides water resistance that  helps to prevent water from entering walls, avoiding costly damage.

3. It allows moisture vapor to escape while protecting against air and bulk water instrusion.

4. It has excellent tear strength and allows 120days of UV exposure.

Material: 3 layers- 2 layers Eco-friendly non-woven fabric outside  + one layer Polyolefin -  It's breathable & waterproof layer,  allows moisture vapor to pass through to help promote drying in roof systems which can aid in preventing the growth of mold and mildew.
