Function:

The taper tap is a special fishing tool making thread in tube dropped object such as drill pipe, oil tube, wash over pipe, packer, water flow allocator, downhole production allocator and oil pipe.

The taps are turned from high strength alloy steel forging materials and heat treated. It is made with chip groove so as to make threads. The box tap is a special external fishing tool which is engaged on the outside wall of tubing objects such as oil tubing and drill pipe.
