1.overview
Medium frequency induction surface quenching take advantage of the electromagnetic induction principle. It produces induced current on the surface by making the components cut lines of magnetic force in the alternating magnetic field. and according to the AC (alternating current) skin effect, rapid heating of parts surface in the form of eddy current, and then chilling rapidly.Medium frequency Equipment is characterized by high frequency ,deep quenched case,suitable for surface treatment of large gears, shafts, rollers and other parts.
2. Induction heating has the following advantages compared with the conventional heat treatment:
1> Fast heating,high thermal efficiency, because induction heating adapt the inner heat source heat Directly with less heat loss;
2> Due to the short heating time, parts surface less oxidation dephosphorization In the process of heating, rejection rate is extremely low compared to other heat treatment;
3> Components has high hardness on the surface and good plasticity and toughness in the heart after induction quenching ,so components’ impact toughness, fatigue strength and wear resistance are greatly improved;
4> Induction heating equipment is compact,small footprint,easy operation
5> Clean production process, no high temperature,good working conditions;
6> Components has small brittleness with induction surface quenching, can improve the mechanical properties as well

8> Induction heating equipment is easy to realize automation, conduct precision process control by electrical parameters;
