Flaxseed / Linseed

Flax (also known as common flax or linseed) (binomial name: Linum usitatissimum) is a member of the genus Linum in the family Linaceae. Linseed, or flaxseed, is one of the most potent sources of omega 3 fatty acids found in nature. Because it comes from a plant source, it is perfect for vegetarian and vegan diets, although it benefits everybody.
