Drain Opening Powder

 

Properties: Highly effective powder with special activating system which is used for opening plugged and blocked drain lines. High alkaline formula works very quickly on hardened and plugged waste.

 

Directions for Use: DRAINEX is a very corrosive powder and may cause severe burns. So the user must read safety instructions carefully and take all precautions before starting application. Application requires boiling water. So a few litres of water is prepared before starting up. 100 – 1,000 gr of DRAINEX is directly poured into the plugged and blocked section of the drain line, and 1 – 3 liters of boiling water is right away poured onto the powder. Application is repeated if necessary. Opening large drain lines in kitchens: Application is carried out the same way as above, but application amounts are larger; that is, DRAINEX is used around 5 – 10 kg, depending on drain dimensions and         10 – 20 lt of boiling water is applied. The staff must be very careful during these kinds of large scale applications since splashing may occur.

 

pH Value: 12.0 - 12.5; in 1% of solution.
