General Description
EM-PTF thickener is an anionic acrylic polymer, serving as coloring carrier in fabric printing with pigment color past on cotton fabrics.

Concentration: 1.5~2.0%,
1. Initial viscosity of white paste after adding water will be over 70000-80000mPa.s under Brookfield rotary viscometer spindle 4#, 6RPM.
2. Around 2% in flat screen printing with viscosity 50000mPa.s and around 1.8% in rotary screen printing with viscosity 33000mPa.s, after adding pigment and binder.
Property and features
1. Good fluidness, easy to mix with other water-based materials.
2. Strong water cohesive and thickening capability under high-speed stirring.
3. High consistency with printing binder, pigment pastes and other textile printing auxiliaries.
4. If pigment doesn’t reach enough consistency, then thickener can be added, which won’t have ill impact on printing result.
5. High thickening capability.
6. High quality stabilization. Free from dilution or bad smell.
7. Good color yield, sharp definition and soft hand feeling.
8. Bring thickening effect to printing paste, and the prepared paste can mix with all kinds of oil-covering water-based paste.
9. Applicable also in bringing better thickening effect to rubber paste, transparent paste, color-printing paste, if consistency is not high enough.
Usage
1. On preparing printing paste, add appropriate dosage of EM-PTF to measured water and stir at high speed until reaching required consistency.
2. In case printing paste is not viscous enough, then add some EM-PTF when stirring.
Safety Notes
1. Thickening ability in soft water is better than that in hard water.
2. Don’t mix with cationic auxiliaries.
3. One year of guarantee under storage temperature 0-40°C.
4. Please use cloth or soft paper to clean when getting blotched by thickener, and wash with salt electrolyte and water.
Notes: Above usages have been proved through practice. But considering practical printing techniques, please choose the right manufacturing process after experiment.
