Cupro Nickel Heat Exchanger Millivolt Pool Heater
Description:
H-Series MilliVolt heaters feature a rust-resistant water path with polymer header assembly, and a rapid-heat combustion chamber. They are easy to install and maintain, thanks to its low profile, lightweight and CPVC plumbing capabilities.
H-Series MilliVolt heaters are all equipped with a Cupro Nickel Heat Exchanger for efficient heating and superior durability. Cupro Nickel provides improved durability and longevity against the damaging effects of erosion that can occur under high-flow conditions, corrosion from occasional pool chemical imbalances, and is ideal for salt-chlorinated pools.
For extra protection, the cupro nickel material has been coupled with an improved flow rate by-pass control. Together, these added technological improvements ensure that your Hayward heater outperforms and outlasts expectations.
Although designed for budget-conscious applications, Hayward H-Series Millivolt heaters deliver uncompromising performance and economy. A standing pilot ignition system ensures reliable lighting, and – like all H-Series heaters – they feature a Finn Plate heat exchanger and Fire Tile combustion chamber. Available in your choice of propane or natural gas models, with input capacity from 150,000 to 250,000 BTU.

Current year model electronic heaters are dual voltage and can operate on 120VAC OR 240VAC. Millivolt heaters do not require an external power supply.
The best way to save on pool heating costs is to obtain a thermal barrier. Most of a pool’s heat is lost during the evening, through evaporation. By using a solar cover or other thermal barrier, less heat is lost and less gas is needed to bring the pool back to desired temperature.
There are specific venting requirements and clearance distances that must be met to ensure proper operation. Consult the owner’s manual for exact specifications for your model of heater.
