The Scando plywood coffee tables arching curves and exaggerated flowing lines earned the piece its ironic mid-century modern status. Yadea’s reproduction of the iconic mid century modern 1961 design is made in true form to the original. The plywood is heat pressed and molded to the exact curvature and dimension of the original creating the intended original visual. The wood is kiln dried to prevent expansion, contraction and separation of the plies. The wood species is genuine walnut prepared to a smooth to the touch state with extensive fine sanding. 

Five individual coast of UV cured polyurethane clear coat seal and finish the surface. The Scando plywood coffee table features all of the quality construction details and has the form of the original at a fraction of the original cost. To easily recreate an iconic modernist set simply combine the Scando coffee table with the Scando Side Table. 

ABOUT WALNUT VENEER

The walnut species is widely admired for its exceptional color tone and graining. While there are many stains which attempt to miimick the "walnut color" the actual walnut species acheives its brown tone without the use of stains. The natural wood presents lighter and darker tones within the various grains, something not acheivable with a topical stain. Walnut in its natural state is a premium choice for wood species and used often in modernist upscale furniture pieces. It is capable of coordinating well with other wood species both light and dark.

Can I negotiate the Price?

Yes, we may consider modest discounts for multiple container loads of mixed goods or bulk orders of individual products to our district distributor.

What is your minimum order requirement?

Our minimum order quantity would be a 20ft container, although in some instances we can arrange one-off sample piece and shipping cost is borne by the customer.

How long will it take to execute my order?

This depends on the size and complexity of the order. Please let us know the quantity and items No. so that we can advise a production schedule.  Production time is typically 15~25 days.

Do you have products in stock?

Sorry, normally we do not carry stock – most items are made to orders. If there is any stock, we will keep you posted as per your enquiry.

How much will the shipping charges be?

This will depend on the size of your shipment and the ways of shipping. When inquiring about shipping charges, we would require the detailed information of product items and quantities, your favored way of shipping(by air or by sea) and your designated port or airport.  We will then be able to advise the best shipping cost for you.

Can you give warranty of your products?

Yes, we are proud to extend a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all items. We would request detailed images of any problems or warranty claims - provided emails with detailed pictures are sent, we will dispatch replacements at our cost to repair the products or alternatively supply replacements in subsequent orders.  In some special cases we may turn to a discount as a solution.

What is your way of Packaging?

We use reinforced cardboard cartons with clear labeling and external color swatches. Goods are economically packed into snug fitting boxes in order to minimize your cost of shipping.
