The Egg chair was originally designed in 1958 for use throughout the Amsterdam Royal Hotel, designed by the same architect. The Egg chair is an example of a classic furniture design inspired by the movement to adapt organic forms into our interior spaces. An iconic piece with its minimal, simple and distinctly “Danish" design. Its creation is taken from respect of the dimensions, the angles, the pitch and curve wrap of the original design.  

The distinguished shape of the Egg Chair was created by omitting all straight lines from its design curved surfaces. The elegant shape is generous for lounging yet has a minimal airy appearance. The Egg Chair  is mid century modern in design and represents the era with its revolutionary form.

To this day, the piece including its stitching is hand created primarily due to its unique curvatures. Reproducing the original form in curve and proportion is part of the quality story aside from materials used in premium reproductions.  

GENUINE TOP GRAIN ANILINE LEATHER

A small percent of the world’s leather supply is of high enough quality for 100% Top Grain Aniline upholstered furniture. Aniline Dyeing is the process of soaking the hides in transparent aniline dyes which allows color to absorb into the natural hide. Top Grain Aniline leather is then topical stain protected to minimize liquid absorption during every day use but does not require imitation grain stamping methods which imprint a Faux grain over the majority of the leather surface. Without all the synthetic topical coatings, it breathes naturally making it comfortable for seating. It is soft, supple, durable and pliable, maintaining the characteristics of pure leather.

Can I negotiate the Price?

Yes, we may consider modest discounts for multiple container loads of mixed goods or bulk orders of individual products to our district distributor.

What is your minimum order requirement?

Our minimum order quantity would be a 20ft container, although in some instances we can arrange one-off sample piece and shipping cost is borne by the customer.

How long will it take to execute my order?

This depends on the size and complexity of the order. Please let us know the quantity and items No. so that we can advise a production schedule.  Production time is typically 15~25 days.

Do you have products in stock?

Sorry, normally we do not carry stock – most items are made to orders. If there is any stock, we will keep you posted as per your enquiry.

How much will the shipping charges be?

This will depend on the size of your shipment and the ways of shipping. When inquiring about shipping charges, we would require the detailed information of product items and quantities, your favored way of shipping(by air or by sea) and your designated port or airport.  We will then be able to advise the best shipping cost for you.

Can you give warranty of your products?

Yes, we are proud to extend a 100% satisfaction guarantee on all items. We would request detailed images of any problems or warranty claims - provided emails with detailed pictures are sent, we will dispatch replacements at our cost to repair the products or alternatively supply replacements in subsequent orders.  In some special cases we may turn to a discount as a solution.

What is your way of Packaging?

We use reinforced cardboard cartons with clear labeling and external color swatches. Goods are economically packed into snug fitting boxes in order to minimize your cost of shipping.
