| All of our products are treated and sealed to be food safe. Soapstone, chalk, crumbs, and liquids wipe off easily with a damp sponge or towel. Our slate boards can also be washed with a sponge and dish soap. Slate boards that do not have EVA feet on the bottom are dishwasher safe. | |||||
| 4.How to care for your slate? | |||||
| In order to preserve your slate board for years to come, wipe it down with a drop or two of food grade mineral oil about twice a year. Mineral oil helps protect the integrity of the slate and maintains a slightly polished look. |
