Microvent® Packaging Vents provide a simple, yet technologically advanced solution to manage differential pressure within a container. From maintaining container shape at the point-of-purchase to meeting stringent regulatory guidelines that require ventilation for heavy-duty chemicals, Microvent® Packaging Vents deliver consistent and effective container venting results.

Liquids, powders and granular products that contain active ingredients such as peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and bleach can emit significant amounts of gases within their containers. If these gases are not allowed to escape, the product's packaging can bloat, leak or even burst. When liquids are dispensed from a container without the free exchange of airflow, their containers can collapse. Temperature and altitude changes which occur during shipping can also cause extreme pressure changes, often resulting in leakage and product contamination.

Molded components from Microvent® are constructed for rugged use.

Each part is quality tested after the Microvent® Membrane is sealed into the plastic component.

They are available in various sizes fitting a volume range from 0.2–1500 liters, and simply snap or press-fit into place.

Molded components from Microvent® offer the best combination of liquid resistance and airflow through the use of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE). The chemically inert Microvent™ Membrane is designed to:
