Air Gauge is a precision comparator type measuring instrument that employs air flow volumes and air pressure to determine the size of measured part dimensions.Operation is noncontact and is as simple as presenting a tool to a workpiece and observing a reading.A row of multiple column can be used for measuring several measuring points in one giance that can reduce measurement times.The benefit of air gauging is its ease of use, which produces accurate results even when used by unskilled operators. Therefore, air micrometer is an effective and efficient shopfloor measuring tool used in quality control.  

Air gaging is a non-contact means of precise comparative dimensional measurement which offers users the advantages of improved workflow, increased productivity, and decreased downtime. It is ideal for measuring dimensions with tolerances smaller than .005″, and when gaging extremely tight tolerances, a resolution as small as .000001″ can be achieved. Its noncontact characteristic makes air gaging particularly useful for checking soft, highly polished, thin-walled or other delicate materials.

The main benefit of air gaging is its ease of use, which produces accurate results while eliminating operator error. Operation is as simple as presenting a tool to a workpiece and observing a reading. The gaging operation is fast, as well. A row of comparators can be scanned in one glance, reducing time and fatigue. And characteristics such as squareness that cannot be checked by fixed limit gaging are easily measured with air gaging.

Air gaging is economical, too. Once the basic system is purchased, relatively inexpensive additional tooling can be used for a wide variety of applications. Air gages effectively measure all common types of dimensions and are particularly suited to measuring dimensional relationships and match gaging.

Most air gaging systems operate at air pressures which can clear workpieces of contaminants such as coolants or cutting oils at the measurement point, eliminating the need for a separate cleaning in most operations. And, since air gage tooling has no moving parts, it is virtually immune to fouling. Air gaging also offers a wide choice of tooling for measurement applications such as roundness, taper, camber (bow), barrel, straightness, clearances, lobing, and more.

Sanmenxia Zhonghao Precision Air Gauging Corporation Limited is the largest and the most professional high-accuracy measuring tools & inspection instrument manufacturer in China, which was built in 1985 on the basis of importing complete set of 3rd generation of air gauging and electronic measuring technology of TSK, Japan. During more than 30 years of development, Zhonghao Precsision Air Gauging Ltd. has served thousands of enterprises at home and abroad, designed and developed numerous air gauging fixtures and inspection instruments according to various special workpiece and different production lines. Now in order to better develop and serve overseas market, Sanmenxia Zhonghao Precision Air Gauging Corporation Limited founded P3 (Precision/Professional/Proud) Air Gauging Ltd. in 2012, which only serves overseas market, meanwhile looking for abroad strategic partners in importing & exporting air gauging tools and measuring instruments.

What we make?

Up to now, PAG mainly owns 7 series of product lines, more than 300 varieties totally, which are widely used in machinery manufacturing, light industry and electronics etc., like automobiles, motorcycles, refrigerator, bearings, machine tools, railway, textile, medicine, vessel, nuclear industry, airplane, military industry, aerospace and research institutions etc.

The air gauging series can be applied to the following measurement: internal diameter, external diameter, thickness, height, depth, taper, planeness, linearity, roundness, parallelism, co-axiality, slot width, center distance etc.

The electronic column produced by PAG can achieve 0.03μm maximum accuracy precision measurement of the workpiece and active in-process measurement as well as other multi-parameters comprehensive measurement. The online automatic inspection machine connected with machine tool can achieve closed-loop control during the course of manufacturing mechanical parts based on part size dispersion and size trends, and automatically zero machine calibration, which can ensure manufacturing accuracy and production efficiency of bearings and textile machinery.

We also produce various high-accuracy measuring instrument, inspection machine and gauging fixtures which are used to measure and inspect engine block, cylinder head, camshaft, connecting rods, pistons, piston pins, piston rings and automotive cylinder, gearbox, axles, all these fixtures we supplied include both single parameter measurement and multiple parameters measurement, both manual measurements and automatically integrated measurement as well as on-line measurement etc.

In addition, we design various customized gauging fixtures and inspection instrument to achieve comprehensive measurement of I.D., O.D. and form & position errors and other parameters of compressor components, which are widely used to measure reciprocating, rotating, vortex and swash plate compressors that characterize large quantity, high accuracy, complex position, multi-parameters etc.

Capacity

PAG owns about 800 workers, 70% of them have over 15 years of experience in air gauging industry, 50 of them even have over 30 years of experience. PAG occupies a total area of 42,322 square meters, has advanced processing equipments and accurate means of measuring and testing to ensure excellent product quality. Currently PAG owns 290 sets of major production equipments, 32 sets of imported equipments, 211 sets of precision measuring and testing equipments, including 8 sets of large-scale inspection equipments. As an ISO9000:2000 certified manufacturer, we had established product traceability system. Besides, PAG has a strong technical team to solve various problems in application and use of gauging fixtures, and we will try to supply professional air gauging measuring solution according to different projects.
