Sound absorbing, sound diffusing and sound insulation, with respect to a specified sound source and receptor: increasing the distance between source and receiver, using acoustic panel to reflect or absorb the energy of the sound waves, using damping structures such as acoustic panel, or using active antinoise sound generators.
