Body diameter models are available from 15 mm to 28 mm with forces ranging from 10 N to 2,500 N.

TIEYING Controls gas springs offer a high service life with treated steel piston rod and precision steel body. In addition, these durable models offer an integrated low friction bearing with a grease chamber that provides a very low break away force. These unique features make the TIEYING Controls gas springs superior to conventional gas springs.

They can be mounted in any orientation, although mounting with the rod in the downward position is preferred. The internal valve allows the force to be adjusted to your specific requirements.

A wide variety of end fittings make installation easy and versatile.

Gas springs are a proven and reliable method of counterbalancing covers, flaps and objects. A gas spring is an energy-storage device filled with nitrogen. A gas spring stores energy by compressing the nitrogen gas within the gas spring. While the gas spring is compressed, the gas chamber volume is reduced due to the intrusion of the shaft into the gas spring tube; thereby causing the gas pressure to rise-storing more energy. This stored energy produces a force in the extension direction making the gas spring extend. More versatile than mechanical springs, TIEYING Gas Springs offer the advantages of speed-controlled dampening, cushioned end motion, simple mounting, compact size, at force curve, and a wide range of available forces.

With Metal Ball End Fittings

We reccomend always replacing struts as a pair to keep the force even between them - often replacing just one strut causes the older strut to fail soon after. This is because even if an old strut hasn't totally failed it will have lost pressure, and matching it with a new strut will cause unequal forces between the two struts, side loading and premature failure of both struts
