Versatile

Minimal adjustment required to set different capacities from 500ml to 5 litres with varying containers contours. The entire range can be set on the same machine without any change parts.

 

Operation of the machine

Each machine shall have its own pumping system to connect the machine with the main/buffer tank of the product. The volume to be filled is measured by the measuring system which consists of multi piston positive displacement volumetric devices. The flow of liquid is measured and converted into electronic pulses by digital encoders and controlled by reputed make of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).

 

Facility is provided for each nozzle to set fast flow “cut-off” and “final flow cut-off” with the interval between the two to be decided on the basis of filling speed and volume to be filled. Volumes can be preset for each nozzles with increments of 1 ml upto 5 litres. All settings can be done on the HMI (Human Machine Interface) keypad which is provided on the control panel.

 

Filling Speed

The estimated filling speed of the machine is as follows :

500ml @ 28-32 fills per minute

1 litre   @ 28     fills per minute

5 litres @ 12     fills per minute

 

The above filling speeds are applicable for nozzles of 19mm f and container mouths of minimum 28mm f . Speed shall stand reduced for smaller mouth containers, product viscosity & foaming characteristics and temperature of product the time of filling.

The container should have 10% of empty volume space after filling the desired volume to get the estimated speed.

 

Drip Free

Absolutely “drip free” deliveries through specially designed nozzles. Ensures rapid recycling of sequence. Diving nozzle arrangement with drip tray provision.

 

Accurate

Sustained accuracy of filling, since positive displacement devices and high speed electronic processing circuits are used. Repeat accuracy of +/- 0.25% for the specified filling range can be achieved.

Safety Device

Non-contact electronic sensors ensure “no bottle no fill” status to avoid spillage in absence of container.

 

Electronic controls

Reputed International make PLC for controls of various functions of the machine. Alphanumeric LCD display MMI (man machine interface) to display various user friendly messages. Volume setting on touch key pad facilitates minimum changeover time. The preset values program are stored in non volatile memory.

 

Unique facility to fine calibrates volumes between the given filling range in increment of 10ml through each nozzle instantaneously by fascia mounted “ Tactile keypad”. Adjustments may be achieved without interrupting filling sequence. This makes the machine totally flexible, universal and “filler friendly”.

 

Flushing

The filling and flushing system shall dependent upon the compressed air of at least 6 kg/cm2 pressure and this compressed air shall be provided by the customer upto a point not more than 2 meters from the location of the filling nozzle.

 

The measuring devices hold certain quantity of product and it is not possible to empty completely. The frequent change over is not recommended. The product with pigments can not be filled in this type of machines.

 

Change Over

Minimum changeover time while changing from one pack size to other pack size.

 

Standard Accessories

All automatic machine shall be equipped with separate pump unit to interface with the customers mother/storage/buffer tank and filling machine. An 3.6metre (3600mm) motorized conveyor shall be supplied as standard equipment.

All above shall be provided within two meter vicinity of the installation.
