Breif lntroduction

Open Area:Perforated sheets contain holes and merial.Open area is the total area of the holes divided by the total area of the sheet and is expresses as a percent.ln other words,open area describes how much of a sheet is occupied by holes.lf a  perforated sheet has 70 percent open area,then 70 percent of the sheet is holes and 30percent is material.

Hole Pattern:Hole pattern is the arrangement of holes on a sheet either staggered rows.ln a staggered hole pattern,the direation of the stagger is normally parallel to the short dimension of the sheet.The standard pattern is 60° staggered.lt is the strongest,most versatile,and ecconomical pattern of the perforated choices.
