In the design of the 'VIRIO workstation', we have taken a closelook at the ergonomics of the operating personnel and the specialworking procedures during balancing .The result: Alll function can beoperated easily and logically. The measurement values are displayed inclear text and the machine can be quickly reequipped for differentrotors , thereby improving productivity without making any concessionsin quality.
It couldn't be simpler
Insert the rotor, enter the geometric data in the EasyMode* start the measuring run and then make the correction.
After the first measuring run, the unbalance for the one or bothcorrection planes will be displayed. This reliably ensures perfectlybalanced rotors, with a lower number of correction steps.
Familiar operation
In the design of our balancing machines we use a consistentoperating philosophy, which is continually under review for furtherdevelopment and improvement. With operating controls located directlyon the machine, clear input procedures and easily understandabledialogues, the user is guided through even the most complex balancingprocesses, all in the user's language. The ease of operation isparticularly worthwhile if the potential for error is significantlyreduced by logical procedures and simple operating procedures, whichsaves both time and costs.
Maximum safety without restrictions
We have taken a completely new approach with the protective hood ofthe VIRIO: we have combined two functions -flipping and swivelling -into one 3 dimensional movement. This makes it possible to balance evenlarger rotors.
Everything considered
The machine bed of the VIRIO is made from a mineral casting. Thismaterials not only ensures good damping properties thanks to itsoutstanding mechanical properties. It also suppresses undersiredinterference effects and offers high thermal stability for consistentmeasuring conditions.
Versatile balancing
Correcting unbalance by drilling has prover itself in manyapplications. Unbalance however can be corrected by means of otherprocedures such as milling, punching, riveting or welding, eithermanually or automatically. The choice of the best correction proceduredepends on the rotors type and the materials.
The complete world of CAB measuring unit
The design of the VIRIO is also completely flexible when it comesto measuring. Depending on the task. you can choose between the CAB700or CAB 803 basic measuring units, which combine ease of operation withmaximum accuracy.
