Qihong Gongfu (Keemun Black Tea), also called Qimen Gongfu or Qihong in short, is produced in Qimen and its neighbouring counties in Anhui. Qihong Gongfu won the the gold medal in the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition. Lustrous black Qihong Gongfu tea has a trong honeyed sweetness. The liquid is red and tastes mellow. The brewed leaves are soft and bright. Qihong Gongfu is suitable for drinking without additives. When adding milk, the liquid turns pink.
