Stools are one of the most popular application of petrified wood. And rightly so! They are wonderful to see, gentle to feel, and they are of great practical value. They can be used as a stool, a side table or for decoration. A petrified wood stools gives your living or office room a chic and sophisticated charm.

There are roughly three different kinds of stools: fully polished, top polished and palm tree stools The last two variants have unpolished sides.

At the top of the stool you can see wonderful colors and textures. With deciduous trees you can clearly distinguish annual rings. There are stools of 50 to 200 KG. Around 100 KG is the most common wheight for a stool.

Tip: if you put a bit of felt at the bottom of the stool it will be easy to move around on a tiled floor or on parquet.

There are only a limited number of areas where petrified wood is found. Some of the petrified wood is so perfect that the original wood structure has been fully conserved. The different colors are caused by numerous small natural influences of the crystal lattice of metal oxides. This leads to beautiful colors and special authentic forms. Sawing and polishing the products have a fantastic appearance and practical application.
