Highway guardrail, considered as a passive barrier, is widely installed to keep the vehicles running inside of road. When inevitable collision occurred, highway guardrails can effectively decelerate 

the speed of errant vehicles and redirect them back to the road by controlling the exit angles. Additionally, it 

also makes the highway apparent to avoid running animals to stray into the roads.

Highway guardrail contain two kinds: Two Wave ( W )Beam and Thrie-BeaM(three wave).  Main material  is:  Q235 /Q345 Steel.Q235 belong carbon steel, Q345 are low alloy steel with much higher impact strength and  price is higher,too.

It can be in two categories by surface treatment: 1. Hot Dip Galvanized .   2. Powder Coated.

Thrie-Beam Steel Guardrail is a type of guardrail that is essentially two pieces of W-Beam Guardrail formed  into one single shape.Hot Dip Galvanized Thrie-Beam Guardrails offer superior performance in areas of high-impact frequency or greater concentrations of heavy vehicles, and as bridge barriers. With a larger face than  standard guardrails, the thrie-beam guardrail reduces deflections and improves  resistance to overturning  vehicles.
