Night Scout

Night Scout is equipped with a built-in powerful IR illuminator(7) that enables clear viewing in low ambient light conditions.

Night Scout has a high-aperture objective lens with a wide field of view and especially designed night vision lens.The lens focusing ring provides a fast,precise and efficient way to quickly focus on objects.

Night Scout a perfect fit to observe moving objects.

Night Scout is furnished with a built-in automatic shut off system to protect the image intensifier tube in the event of excessive light exposure.Night Scout will turn off after 2 seconds,when exposed to intense light source.

NOTE:It is acceptable to use alkaline and rechargeable(nickel-cadmium)batteries of the above indicated standard,however the running time from one battery might vary.

Remove the lens cover.

Tip: It is recommended only in relatively low light intensity to open the power supply. If the light is stronger in the case of testing, do not remove the lens cover.

Open the ON button, then the green LED lights turn on, from the eyepiece to see the green light.

If you use black environments, such as the basement, so when the deep valley. Press the button to open infrared auxiliary IR light, then infrared LED lights.

Tip: When you open the infrared auxiliary light source, also using night vision goggles can be another person observed, then the user will be exposed target.

When the Night Scout when observing the object. By rotating the eyepiece focus until the image bright and clear enough. Turn off the power, once again press the ON button, the lens protection cover.

1.Do not disassemble the unit and attempt to use it in that condition.

2.To clean,use clean soft cloth and dampened in alcohol,if necessary.

3.Never pour alcohol or any other liquids directly onto lens surfaces.

4.Never use paper or newspaper to clean the unit,.

5.Failture to follow the above precautions may cause the unit damage and will void the manufacturer’s warranty.

Always store the unit in its carrying case in a dry well ventilated space in temperature above +15℃(60℉).Do not store near heating devices.Do not store in direct sunlight or high humidity conditions(higher than 70%).Remove battery for prolonged storage.

The object recongnition distance is not a constant measure and is determined by the following factors:natural light conditions,sky clarity and contrast between the observed object and its background.

The object recognition distance increases in good light conditions,full moon or with help of IR illuminator,or for an object situated on light background,e.g.sand,snow,etc.

The object recognition distance substantially decreases in low light conditions,cloudy sky,or for an object situated on dark background,e.g.tress,etc.
