Granite Veneer Panels Backed with Aluminum Honeycomb consists a sheet of granite sliced into 3-8mm thick with special purpose glue to aluminium honeycomb panel. Ultrathin stone aluminum honeycomb panel possesses its artistic natural stone surface but overcome stone's defects of fragileness and heavy weight. Added a high quality aluminum alloy sheet between the stone slice and aluminum honeycomb core, it has better impact resistance and bending strength. It has been used in building curtain and interior decoration, which is one of the most advanced green and environment-friendly products on the world. Also, for easy installation purpose, the panel can be embedded with rectangular hollow section (RHS). 

For exterior curtain, we recommend stone aluminum honeycomb panel with 4-5mm thick stone, minimum 25mm aluminum honeycomb panel thickness; 3-4mm thick stone, 15mm anel thickness for interior curtain; 3-4mm thick stone, 15-20mm aluminum honeycomb panel thickness for ceiling and 5-8mm thick stone, 10-15mm aluminum honeycomb panel thickness for floor surface.

Package:

Panel is covered by protective film then piled up. They can be put in carton box or plywood crates or on wooden pallets. For small order, they can be delivered by express or by LCL ocean shipping, large order can use container which will significantly save logisitic cost. Customized package or shipping mode is upon clients' requirement.

What is a honeycomb panel?

A honeycomb panel consists of a sheet of honeycomb core (eg. Aluminum honeycomb) sandwiched between sheets of Aluminum or cured Prepreg laminates to provide an exceptionally stiff yet lightweight board.

What is the minimum order quantity for honeycomb panels?

The minimum order quantity is one square meter for regular specifications. For customized products such as super wide, super long, super thick, special treated, special shape etc, the minimum order quantity should be upon discussion with sales engineers.

How much do panels cost?

The price depends on the materials used and the quantities required. Generally speaking, price per square meter ranges from $45 to $400 but some special specification and specially treated panels should be greatly higher than that range.

What are the standard dimensions of honeycomb panels?

There are three standard lengths - 3658mm, 3048mm and 2440mm (equating to 12 ft, 10ft and 8ft). The standard width is 1220 (4ft). Thickness can be from 6mm upwards. We are happy to consider other dimensions for significant volumes. For container loading convenience, the width can be up to 2.3 meters and length up to 12 meters.

What information should I provide for a quotation for Panels?

We need information as below:

- Panel dimensions: Length x Width x Thickness (define thickness as either the core or the bonded panel with skins).

- Any special dimensional tolerances

- Panel construction including:

-- Skin type and thickness

-- Adhesive (if known)
