Features
1. Inspection is done to check the multi-layer insulation of high-voltage cross-link power cable by transmissive X-ray;
2. With concentrated measurement and control technology, nuclear electronics, eletromechanical integration technology and computer technology altogether, this equipment adopts differential regeneration analysis technology to perform inspection without the need of calibration or preheating by the operator as it begins to work immediately after it’s powered on;
3. The X-ray measuring head is composed of two same scanners which are perpendicular with each other and have corresponding electronic control systems. The measuring head can be individually changed;
4. The measuring head is fixed on a U-shaped frame while the X-ray emitter and receiver are separately installed on the sides of the U-shaped frame, which is driven by a stepping motor and performs scanning at high resolution and uniform velocity. Scanning speed can be set from the touch screen as per the production speed and different diameters of the cable;
5. The measuring tube, which is made of stainless steel, is installed at the end of the expansion pipe of the cross-line production line. In the measuring tube there is an inner cooler and a beryllium window. Two measuring heads are installed on the measuring tube;
6. Intelligent control system is available throughout the whole production line, which is also equipped with inspection, indication, and fault display. Running status is displayed on the human-machine interface, from which it’s possible to have dialogue between the operator and the machine any time;
