4. Main components and technical parameters
4.1. PN 1600 pay-off stand:
4.1.1. Of pintle type on end-shaft, the stand is capable of moving up and down both simultaneously and separately to ensure the adjustment of height. Two stanchions move left and right separately, and there is protection against over-twist for loading and limit for unloading. Pay-off tension is controlled by pneumatic and mechanical tensioner to make adjustment.

4.2. Stranding cages for 12-bobbin, 18-bobbin, 24-bobbin
4.2.1. Cage composed of disk, beam, fork, gearbox, and bearings. Beam is welded and subject to stress relief. Stranding cage is driven by gearbox via ground shaft and performs forward, reverse and free-load running by operating the hand lever. Two modes of gearbox transmission for option: by toothed belt or by line shaft (connected by toothed coupling).
4.2.2. When bobbins are loaded in a batch, stranding cage is positioned in two modes, i.e. slow motion by an individual motor for transmission by toothed belt. For line shaft, positioning is done by main motor in inching movement. Main motor is linked with bobbin loading motor with the help of a clutch. In case of change over of direction, two stroke switches control the main motor and the bobbin loading motor. When clutch is pushed to the ground shaft of the main motor, the main motor cannot run.
4.2.3. Loading is positioned by contactor and proximity switch on the disk. Braking is achieved with 4 groups of plane pneumatic disk brake.
4.2.4. Monitored by the wire breakage detector with non-contact probe in fixed pintle for each bobbin, once wire is broken on any bobbin it will alert to stop the machine instantaneously to ensure wire complementing.
4.2.5. Bobbin is clamped with pneumatic pintle. Mechanical security device is fitted as soon as bobbin is loaded to ensure sheer security. At the same time the mechanical security device is provided with a main motor for control of position, which starts up only when all the security devices are in secure position. Pneumatic pintle clamps and releases, safety device closes and releases with the help of a manual air valve.
4.2.6. Bobbin tension is controlled with pneumatic and mechanical tensioner at the fixed pintle via pressure regulator to automatically make necessary changes. Automatic shifts are made according to the length signal to ensure all bobbins keep uniform tension throughout full bobbin and empty bobbin. Mechanical tension is performed by adjusting the compressing spring by hand. Both modes can work separately or together.
4.3. Automatic loading & unloading device
4.3.1. Bobbins are loaded or unloaded in horizontal way and bobbin catching, turning, moving, and loading can be performed in turns. It is characterized by short time for loading & unloading, high efficiency and easy operation.
4.3.2. When the bobbin loader moves to the position where bobbin is put, the vertical bobbin-load holder catches the bobbin, which is locked by mechanical locking apparatus. Then a turnover motor turns the bobbin into horizontal direction to ensure loading position. This loader is provided with limit position control, only when the bobbin (empty or full) is locked, can the turnover motor turn the bobbin to ensure security in loading & unloading.

4.4. Closing die holder & pressing holder
4.4.1. One group of closing die holder and roller pressing die is fixed behind each stranding cage with the closing die holder adjustable from the front or the behind.
4.4.2. Closing die holder can achieve wires closing or drawing and pressing into cables.
Between the stranding cage and the closing die there is a pre-shaping device, and the guide roller rack close to the closing die is fixed, while the other two sets of racks for the guide rollers can move in order to adjust the pre-shaping pitch. The upper guide roller, which is on the middle rack and is adjustable, has a graduation ruler to maintain the adjustment constant with the upper roller on the guide rock.
4.5. Length counter
4.5.1. Of roller contact type. Both photoelectric and mechanical modes make length counting more accurate.
4.6. Main transmission system: 36-stage gearbox device
4.6.1. Main transmission system is provided with a DC motor, and gearbox has toughened face gears to ensure accuracy.
4.7.φ2500 dual haul-off device
4.7.1.φ2500 mm dual haul-off device is provided with dual motorization and dual haul-off featuring good synchronous performance and large haul-off.
4.7.2.Two haul-off wheels are complete with natural wires-divide construction to prevent wires from scratching in the course of haul-off and wires-divide.
4.7.3.The shaft of haul-off wheel is welded in steel construction. Haul-off mechanism is high in strength and good in synchronous performance.
4.8. φ2500 shaftless type take-up & traversing stand
4.8.1. The stand is provided with electric lifting to clamp the bobbin, which can move separately or simultaneously, with limit guide and reliable performance.
4.8.2. Take-up device is driven by torque motor via a gearbox.
4.8.3. A DC motor with speed regulator moves portal stand left and right on guide rail for traversing, which moves a pitch at equal speed when take-up spooler rotates by a circle and tracks automatically.
