[Filtration Process] Liquid enter into the filter through inlet, part of the liquid enter into the filter directly from the lower end of the filtering element. Another part of the liquid from the intermediate shunt tube into the top of the filter, and then flows from the upper end of the filter element, liquid inflow at the same time from the filter element opening up and down,through the filter element inner surface in outlet collection. Particulate impurities were intercepted at the inner surface of filter element, accumulated into filter cake, to gradually increase the pressure differential between inlet and outlet,surface of the filter cake reaches a certain thickness, then the filter element flux decreases. Backwash Cycle
l Gear motor will rotate wash arm below the filter cartridge to the position which opposite to the first root cartridge of preparing cleaning , internal of filter connected with drain pipe through washing arm.
l back flushing valve opens
l The pressure generated from the external of filter and outfall pipe will allow small amount of cleaned liquid after filtration to flow from outside to internal of filter cartridge
l Particles intercepted in the external of filter cartridge will rush out of the filter along the wash arm and outfall pipe.
l When backwash time for each filter is up, the valve of back flushing will be closed,just like this,each filter cartridge will be cleaned in turn,then a recycle of back flushing is over.
[ Positioning ] Positioning disc and cleaning arm are installed on the shaft driven by the gear motor. Each positioning hole on the disc matches each element and cleaning arm are corresponding to one hole. When one hole reaches the channel of positioning sensor, the sensor output the signal to stop the gear motor. The cleaning arm has aimed at one element at the same time. The cleaning valve opens for several seconds till the element is cleaned. Then the gear motor continues rotating. When the next hole on disc reaches the sensor channel, the gear motor will stop and the next element is cleaned.
