MME Electrical Roller Mill
1. Principle
- MME type Roller mill is designed for perfectly grinding in the flour mill.
- The milling rolls are running on self-aligning SKF (Sweden) roller bearings housed on a carbon steel beam and located on shock absorbers to reduce vibrations on the machine to achieve quiet running.
- The main base of the machine is casting structure which is designed for heavy duty. Other frames are welded and appropriately processed by high quality steel plates for eliminating mechanical stress. This special design guarantees absorption of milling vibrations and noise free operation.
- The main drive between motor and fast roller is by 5V high tension belt and the transmission between milling rolls is by means of sprocket belt which could absorb the vibration and noise furthest.
- The milling rolls are engaged by means of pneumatic SMC (Japan) air cylinders unit installed on both sides of the machine.
- The automatic Siemens (Germany) feeding roll system with micro PLC ensures that the materials can be fed into the rolls evenly and continually.
- Note: Micro PLC control box to be located in main MCC cabinet room.
2. Features

- Roller chill is made by centrifuged cast iron, dynamically balanced for a long working span.
- Horizontal roller configuration, roller packs self-contained forces with servo-feeder for a perfectly grinding performance.
- Air aspiration design for the roller gap reduces the temperature of the grinding roller.
- Automatic operation system makes it possible to display or modify the parameter very simply.
- All the roller mills can be central controlled (e.g. engaged/disengaged) through PLC system and in control room center.
3. Application
- Widely applied in modern flour mills.
- Can be installed in the first floor for a good an operation and also can be installed in ground floor to save space.
- Different surface parameters serve for different grinding passage, different middle materials.
